United Living wins big at Oracle Construction & Engineering Excellence Awards 2019
United Living were the only company to win an award for Systems Integration in Residential and Commercial at Oracle’s Construction & Engineering Excellence Awards 2019.
The award ceremony, which had entrants from Europe, the Middle East and Africa, recognised innovative and forward-looking organizations, project teams and individuals that have improved the way they manage and deliver projects through digital transformation.
Greg Morley, Group Chief Information Officer at United Living, said: “I was proud to accept the above award on behalf of United Living. The award was made on the basis of the systems integration work we’ve done to facilitate data migration from legacy systems such as Buzzsaw and Openspace into Aconex using the Aconex API and code written on our behalf by our partner Ballard Chalmers. The award also acknowledged the integration between Aconex and Conquest, again using the Aconex API.
“Many colleagues have played a part in this award. In particular I’d like to single out Diane Lonergan, IT Operations Manager, and Husam Mostafa, Technical Director, as being integral to our success in this award category: Diane for her many hours of hard systems work behind the scenes, much of which has been (and continues to be) out of office hours, working with Ballard Chalmers to scope, develop, test and ultimately migrate data using the integration technology. Husam for his clear vision and leadership of Aconex, driving the principles of information governance, data integrity and clear business benefits of using Aconex and associated best practices.”
