 · Posted in News

United Living and Partner Construction have held a successful ‘Supply Chain Engagement’ event in Middlesbrough for potential suppliers and sub-contractors in and across the North East of England.

Attendees were able to meet key people within both businesses and find out how they could become involved in the delivery of several exciting development and regeneration schemes.

The event took place at the Riverside Stadium and included a meet and greet, breakfast, a presentation, question and answer session and networking opportunities.

Helen Francis, Business Development Director at United Living, said: “I would like to thank everyone who attended our Supplier Engagement Day with Partner Construction Ltd in Middlesbrough. The event was a great success; we engaged with over 160 local suppliers and subcontractors discussing upcoming opportunities and really got to grips in understanding the local priorities i.e. potential ways of working together, beneficial payment terms, social value initiatives and training and employment provisions.”

Phil Hunter, Commercial Director with Partner, said: “We are committed to providing opportunities for the communities in which we work. Wherever possible we try to engage local delivery teams and are now working to further strengthen and develop our existing and new relationships with such suppliers across the North East, we welcomed meeting locally based companies.”
