United Living and Fastflow Group – keeping UK water networks safe and healthy

Working collaboratively with our client, Northumbrian Water Group, Fastflow Pipeline Services has a team of essential workers carrying out work so that people can stay safe at home. Our teams are adhering to strict government guidelines and safe systems of work to ensure they stay safe when maintaining clean water supplies.

Managing Director of Fastflow Pipeline Services, Barry McDonald said: “The scheme at Belford in Northumberland, has been identified through Northumbrian Water’s operations team for pipe renewal because of the burst history in this location. We are supporting Northumbrian Water to maintain supplies to customers at this really crucial time. The scheme is replacing 1050m of mains renewals, serving 100 local properties.

“Because of the current pandemic, we have worked hard to adopt new safe ways of working that meet our updated requirements and that of our customers.”
