United Living Property Services hits key milestone on major improvement programme
A significant milestone has been reached on United Living Property Services housing improvement programme on behalf of Bassetlaw District Council.
The leading social housing maintenance provider has now installed its 300th boiler as part of a major replacement programme in Retford.
The boiler replacement programme is being carried out in close partnership with Bassetlaw District Council, who United Living have been the main service provider for since 2006. The long-term partnership has seen planned refurbishment works to over 8,000 widely dispersed homes across 40 rural villages (including a concentration of 3,500 homes within Worksop).
Vanessa Welch, Senior Resident Liaison Officer, United Living Property Services, said: “We are really proud to have reached this milestone achievement in our boiler replacement programme. We wanted to celebrate this with the resident, Mrs Thompson, so arranged for a large bouquet of flowers to be presented upon completion. It has been a wonderful journey so far improving the residents’ heating systems and reducing their carbon footprint, we look forward to helping more residents in the future as part of this programme with Bassetlaw.”
This milestone in boiler installations has been made at a time where extra Covid safety precautions have been implemented by United Living Group. These measures are to ensure customer and tenant safety throughout the lockdown period, and allowed the programme of works to continue with minimised contact and improved hygiene procedures.
Features of the programme include, but are not limited to:
- Aids & Adaptations
- Kitchen & Bathrooms
- Windows & Doors
- Roof replacement
- External H&S works
- Boiler replacements
- External Wall Insulation (EWI)
- Electrical upgrades
- Fire risk assessment works
