Charity walk raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer Research Centre

Congratulations to the United Living New Homes team from Old Farm Place, Sidcup, who have raised vital funds for the Prostate Cancer Research Centre.

Arranged by Senior Site Manager, Devon Johnson, the site team walked a five-mile route which took them from Sidcup through Avery Hill, Blackfen and Blendon with over £2000 raised so far.

Devon said: “The Prostate Cancer Research Centre is very much dear to me, because two years ago my Dad was diagnosed with the ‘dreaded disease’ and thankfully is now all cleared.

“For the last two years I have adopted the charity and have been doing fundraising activities on their behalf. We did a similar activity while working on the Copley Phase 4 project which was two miles and it was great to step this up to five miles. I would like to thank everyone for their generosity and the team who came with me on the walk supporting this great cause.”

If anyone would like to donate, you can do so via this link.

On behalf of BexleyCo Homes, the £14 million Old Farm Place development in Sidcup will deliver 58 new homes, which will be a blended mix of private sale and affordable properties.
