United Living secures a place on £20 billion development framework
United Living New Homes has been awarded a place on Homes England’s new Delivery Partner Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
Up to £20 billion of residential development is expected to be delivered through the DPS. Homes England, the government’s housing delivery agency, has many sites that it is planning to issue expressions of interest for via the DPS in the coming months.
The DPS replaces the £8 billion Delivery Partner Panel 3 (DPP3), which expired in July 2021. Approved businesses can apply to develop sites managed by Homes England.
Mick Holling, Regional Managing Director at United Living New Homes, said: “We are very proud to have been awarded a place with Homes England as a preferred partner for their new DPS.
“Our inclusion means we can bid for any sites that may become available, increasing our opportunities to secure land for future developments. Valued at £20 billion, the DPS is Homes England’s largest procurement exercise to date and to be part of it recognises the continued growth and success of our business.”
A total of 66 developers, suppliers and housing associations have been appointed to the new procurement framework, with applications to the DPS sought from those who share Homes England’s ambitions to build more sustainably and for high-quality design and placemaking.
