United Living secures place on £5 billion housing framework

United Living New Homes has strengthened its position as a leading UK place maker by securing a place on the SCF Residential Delivery and Development Framework.

Created to support public sector residential construction and development in the region, SCF Residential is a £5 billion, four-year framework available to all public bodies in the South East, London and the South West. It has been designed to be flexible and responsive to industry pressures, including net-zero carbon, Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and the ongoing housing crisis.

The framework will operate under a two-stage open book tendering system, recommended by Government to reform construction practices through early contractor involvement. This new deal complements the current SCF Construct and SCF Consult frameworks which have delivered over £7 billion worth of combined construction schemes in the last 14 years since they were first established.

Nick Tijou, Managing Director, United Living New Homes South, said: “We are very proud to have been awarded a place on the SCF framework to deliver high-quality new homes across the country,

“With a shared emphasis on quality, social value and environmental impacts, we look forward to creating a real positive community impact in the places we work.”

SCF senior framework manager, Matthew Elliott said: “The successful bidders offer public sector organisations a fantastic breadth of experience and expertise ideally tuned to the needs of the current housing market.  We have built this framework around our ethos and practice of collaboration, transparency and added value, with a focus on social value and supporting carbon and environmental impacts.
