United Living signs Armed Forces Covenant
United Living Group is pleased to announce that it has signed the Armed Forces...
Building on our recent National Grid project wins (Hatton Compressor upgrade phase 2 and AGI Renovation Campaign (NARC), United Living Infrastructure Services (ULIS) has been awarded all four Lots of the Decommissioning 22 project, to be delivered throughout 2022/23.
The multi-million-pound design and build project sets out to decommission several redundant National Grid assets across the National Transmission System (NTS).
This award is the first tranche of works, putting ULIS in an excellent position to capitalise on this workstream.
The works are split into two phases. The first phase concentrates on the network’s isolation and disconnection of redundant assets. The second phase of work will be the demolition and removal of redundant assets and re-purposing of the sites, including the removal of compressor units and associated equipment, demolition of buildings and removal of above and below ground pipework.
The work has commenced with an anticipated build completion date of February 2023. James O’Donnell Infrastructure Services Operations Director, stated, “We are delighted to have been awarded this key project within National Grid’s Gas Transmission workbook, and to continue our strong relationship with National Grid, who we are now supporting on a number of critical nationwide infrastructure projects.”
