United Living Group, the provider of infrastructure, affordable housing, property services, and telecoms, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, United Living Connected (ULC), has secured its National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) accreditation following a successful assessment by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
NERS is a UK-wide, comprehensive accreditation scheme. Its primary objective is to assess the technical proficiency of Independent Connection Providers to design, project manage and carry out electrical connections. ULC’s NERS accreditation covers construction, design, and project management scopes up to 132kV.
Having a NERS accreditation ensures that ULC meets necessary regulatory standards and demonstrates that the Company adheres to high standards and best practices in electrical work. ULC securing this accreditation falls in line with its strategy to expand its service offering to new and existing clients.
Scott MacGregor, Operations Director, United Living Connected, commented:
“We are delighted to secure our NERS accreditation, as it marks an important step in the United Living Connected strategy of becoming an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) and further enhance our service offering to our existing clients. Our accreditation also supports our ambition of becoming a significant player in the deployment of rapid and ultra-rapid infrastructure on behalf of EV charging infrastructure providers.”
