United Living Group, the provider of infrastructure, affordable housing, property services, and telecoms, today announces that its subsidiary, United Living Infrastructure Services (ULIS), has secured a further multi-million-pound contract as part of works on the fuel pipework infrastructure for Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 upgrade.
The Manchester Airport Storage and Hydrant Company (MASHCo) project are collaborating with Manchester Airport to facilitate the expansion of the new Pier which will provide new boarding gates and flexible aircraft stands at Pier 2.
The project includes installing a hydrant main which allows the fuelling of aircraft on relevant stands. These installations will integrate with the existing pipeline recently installed by ULIS at the airport.
The work is part of the overall expansion of Terminal 2 by Manchester Airport Group (MAG), detailed as their Transformation Programme (MAN-TP).
Conor Bray, Managing Director at United Living Infrastructure Services, commented:
“We are delighted to have secured further fuel pipeline works as we continue our close partnership with MASHCo and Air bp as part of the Manchester Airport Transformation Project.”
