A new, vibrant community where people want to live and work

Glenvale Park is an exciting new 3,000-home community development underway in Wellingborough, offering a wide selection of quality new homes and amenities from a range of market-leading national developers, including United Living Group.

It brings together six housebuilders who will each develop a parcel of land, creating a vibrant and high-quality development and providing a substantial number of homes to suit a variety of customers. The project is supported by Homes England funding. It includes two new primary schools, a community hub, retail space, and green spaces for new residents and the local community.

New homes to accommodate a range of housing needs

On behalf of Stonewater, United Living New Homes will deliver 148 mixed-tenure homes and apartments to cater for a range of housing needs, thus providing the opportunity to accommodate a variety of people and create a mixed community.

Seventy-four of the new properties will be available for social and affordable rent. There will also be 35 new homes available for shared ownership and 39 offered through the Rent to Buy scheme, providing an excellent choice for commuters, young professionals and families looking for a safe, sustainable, and affordable place to call home.

A high-quality, sustainable community

Sustainability is a key focus of the site, aligning with Stonewater’s ambitious low-carbon and energyefficiency commitments. The houses will be fitted with air-source heat pumps to ensure lower carbon emissions, and the development will also incorporate electric vehicle (EV) charging points at designated plots across the site.

Collaboration with other developers

This traditional build development has several logistical and ecological challenges, with ten other separate residential developments underway in the immediate vicinity.

Working closely with the other developers, we have put in place a flexible programme (over the 198-week duration) to mitigate any significant community impact and to improve the overall site safety and efficiency of the works.

The project is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2025.
