Hull school children learn about construction site safety with United Living
Children from Estcourt Primary Academy in Hull took part in a design a safety poster competition, where the two winners had their designs enlarged to be displayed on a United Living construction site for all to see.
Head of year, Nathan Ullah, said; “We had lots of fantastic entries from the children and it was very difficult to pick the winners. United Living also gave us a safety talk and donated building materials to the school to use for arts projects. The children are also looking forward to designing a picture for the site hoardings”.
Community Development Manager, Anthony Pennant said: “The children were very excited about this project from the outset and have listened carefully as we’ve explained the dangers of playing on or near to construction sites. We look forward to continuing to work with the school and are currently planning to take the pupils onto our site to visit the project.”
