Ms Jamieson takes over from Charlie Dunn, who has been in post as Managing Director for United Living North over the last three years since the business was originally established in April 2015. Mr Dunn will take the lead as Managing Director for United City Living the name for United Living’s new PRS division, focussing exclusively on building a pipeline of projects within the PRS market, across the growth cities of the UK. It will complement the business’s wider ambitions to build on its reputation as an end to end provider of quality new homes.

“This is an exciting time to be joining United Living and I’m thrilled to be part of a senior team who understand the importance of customers and the communities in which we work”, says Joanne. “I look forward to working with the Northern team and wider group to continue to grow our business.”

Chief Executive Officer, Ian Burnett said: “This expansion to our current service offering will make the United Living model all-encompassing and with the private rented sector market set to grow rapidly in the next four to five years we are in a strong position to contribute significantly to these developments.

“We welcome the expertise of Joanne Jamieson, who is known to a number of colleagues within the business, and we’ve tasked her to further build on the excellent refurbishment and new build work that we’ve been delivering in the Midlands and North for our current Housing Association clients.

“Joanne also brings considerable expertise in the land development sector which will complement our strong increasing presence in this market.”

United City Living hits the ground running with a strong forward order book of approximately £250m of contracts, owing to an established partnership between United Living and the Newcastle-based High Street Group. This is already growing further with more partnerships in the pipeline.

To coincide with these latest developments, United Living has re-organised its Executive Committee (Exco) with the appointment of Managing Director (Refurbishment – South) Daren Moseley and Managing Director (Construction - South) Steve Carden. These appointments to Exco recognise the contribution that both Steve and Daren have made in leading their respective business units over the last three years of profitable growth for United Living.
