Pelham Waterside – a new waterside community
United Living has started building works at a new housing development on Trent Lane in Nottingham.
Pelham Waterside is a brand new residential community being built near the banks of the River Trent, close to Nottingham city centre and within the Waterside Regeneration Zone.
Developed by Pelham Homes, the 73 contemporary properties will be available for outright sale and shared ownership, and have been designed to embrace sustainability, community and nature.
Allan Fisher, director of Pelham Homes said: “Pelham Waterside is a project which we’ve been working on behind the scenes for sometime so it’s great to get the build underway. We’re excited to be contributing to the regeneration of this area of Nottingham, and thanks to a variety of purchasing options, we’re offering homes to people who might otherwise struggle to get onto the property ladder.”
The new homes are a mixture of two and three storey 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, and 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses.
Richard Baker, regional director for United Living, said: “Our team is proud to be working with Pelham Homes on this important plan to reinvigorate a part of Nottingham city centre with new homes and communities. We’re looking forward to bringing this riverside location back to life and we will be working with Nottingham City Jobs to facilitate local workers on site over the contract period.”
The properties have been designed by Nottingham based architects CPMG.
Associate Steve Milan said: “Pelham Waterside is an exciting project to be involved with, helping to breathe new life into an historic part of Nottingham. CPMG is delighted to be supporting Pelham Homes and United Living in delivering attractive, high-quality homes to create a vibrant living environment which will benefit the local community.”
